Privacy Policy
Short version: this website has no accounts, no forms, no cookies, no tracking scripts and no third-party requests of any kind — the fonts and icons are served from this site, not from anyone else’s. We count how many times each page was loaded and each file downloaded, on our own server, with no way of telling one visitor from another. The only personal information we hold is what you choose to put in an email to us. The detail below explains the rest, including the one thing that happens automatically whenever any web page loads.

Who we are
Apple Pie Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 89 660 499 356) is an ICT consultancy based in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Apple Pie Solutions Pty Ltd.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What this policy covers
This policy covers this website, applepiesolutions.com.au, and any correspondence you send us.
It does not cover the software we publish. Track Yeah! stores its data entirely on your own device and sends nothing to us or anyone else; its privacy position is described on the Ventures page and in the documentation shipped with the application. Truck Yeah! will carry its own privacy notice.
What we collect
This is a static website. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no forms and no comment facility. We do not run advertising or third-party analytics on it.
We collect personal information in two circumstances:
- When you email us. If you contact us at contact@applepiesolutions.com.au, we receive whatever you choose to include — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message.
- Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records technical information about requests, including IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamp. This is generated automatically by the act of serving a web page and is used for security and reliability only.
- Request counts. We keep a running tally of how many times each page was loaded and each file was downloaded, broken down by day. This runs on the server after the page has already been sent to you. There is no script on the page, no cookie, no local storage and no identifier of any kind — which means we cannot tell whether two requests came from the same person, the same device, or the same country. We use it to know whether anyone is reading the site and whether anyone is using Track Yeah!, and for nothing else.
Third parties that receive data when you visit
Loading this site causes your browser to make requests to one place only:
- Our hosting provider, which serves the pages and keeps the server logs described above.
We do not use tracking pixels, advertising networks, session recording, behavioural analytics, fingerprinting, or any third-party analytics service. Nothing about your visit is shared with anyone.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own and does not use local storage.
How we use your information
We use the information you send us to reply to your enquiry, to provide the services you engage us for, and to keep the records we are required to keep. We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it for marketing.
Storage, security and location
Correspondence is held in our business email system. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it. Some service providers we rely on may store data outside Australia; where that is the case, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence for as long as needed for the purpose it was provided, and afterwards only as long as required by law — including the record-keeping obligations that apply to Australian companies.
Data breaches
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Accessing and correcting your information
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@applepiesolutions.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable period. We may need to verify your identity first.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us at contact@applepiesolutions.com.au and we will investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published at this address, with the date it was last updated shown above.
